Obviously, that's not all that important when you are looking to buy a standard issue. 3) There are so many sellers on here that do not pay attention to or either do not care that they are listing issues incorrectly. Many sellers on this site are under-cutting themselves with extremely low prices compared to other sites on rare or sought after music. 2) I have found this to be much more tailored to the buyer, than the seller. I have been a buyer on Discogs for years and the reasons I have not made the switch as a seller are 1) Laziness-always a lot of work making the leap. With all that said, I think Discogs is a good fit for me. I try to find rare & early pre-1990 issues as much as possible, although I get many "throw-away" cd's in collections that I buy. That's not to say that I do not make many mistakes, but I try to honest with my customers upfront as much as possible. I maintained a 100% rating on Ebay, with almost 6,000 feedback ratings and 99% on Amazon with over 600 ratings. I have thousands of cd's, which is basically a mini-store in my home. My main gripes with Amazon are the fees, terrible seller support, the fact that they sell manufactured Cd-r's, as well as, a few other things. I recently transferred my Ebay inventory to Ebid mainly due to the exorbitant fees from Ebay.
